Marjan Jai Ran
I found yoga at the age of 14 and have studied with world-renowned teachers in India, Europe and the U.S. ever since. In 2003, I completed the YogaWorks Teacher Training with James Brown and I have continued studying with anusara teachers and other senior teachers.
After years of studying yoga in Germany under the guidance of a long time yogi, I migrated to Southern California. I came here to apply my knowledge as an athlete and yoga teacher to the community. Moving to the U.S.A., I realized the practice would become the foundation for my personal development and growth from that moment forward. I have been to India to study Vedanta and visited many ashrams of well-known saints. I am a devoted yogini and teacher who imparts a passion for life and well-being in my teaching. My view of science and spirituality is that yoga is a path to explore our inner selves and elevate our consciousness. My style pulls from multiple yogic disciplines, and is both intuitive and steeped in the traditional aspects of yoga. My classes focus on breath, alignment and the interconnection between mind, body and spirit, allowing students to work at their own pace in a safe and transformational environment.
